William Hincks
William Hincks was the first professor of Natural History at University College, what is now part of the University of Toronto, Canada
In response to Darwinian evolution, he developed a circular taxonomy based on quinarian classification by W. S. MacLeay and by William Swainson. You can read my paper here.
